A great treatment that addresses fine lines, wrinkles, sun damage and discoloration. LaseMD UltraTM is a non-ablative 1927 nm fractional thulium laser that helps to rebuild glowing, healthy skin through non-ablative fractionated treatments. A “non-ablative” treatment means the epidermis stays intact so there is less recovery time. The “fractional” quality of the laser creates tiny columns of laser energy in the skin while leaving unaffected skin around each zone. As the microscopic wounds heal, collagen remodeling is stimulated which helps to build a stronger matrix, smoothing fine lines, improving textural irregularities and diminishing uneven pigment. The unaffected skin helps to repair the areas faster so the treatments have less down time than some other laser treatments. A series of three treatments is recommended. Depending on your skin type, your provider will determine if you are a candidate for the Ultra Glo or the Ultra Deep.
