How does it work?
Laser Hair Removal uses sophisticated light energy to target the pigment in the hair follicle causing thermolysis (heat injury) of the follicle. That is why Laser Hair Removal requires hair with pigment – blonde and grey haired individuals are not candidates for Laser Hair Removal.

How many treatments will I need?
Laser Hair Removal only targets hair that is actively growing, not hair that is lying dormant under the skin. Generally, most individuals will require 6-8 treatments depending on how dense the area is initially and how well the hair responds to the laser.

What does it feel like?
Generally Laser Hair Removal feels like a snapping sensation on the skin. Some clients describe it as a “rubber-band snapping the skin”. Our office uses the Lutronic Clarity 2, which blows cool air on the treatment area during the procedure to ease any discomfort.

Who is a candidate for Laser Hair Removal?
Anyone can have Laser Hair Removal as long as the unwanted hair is pigmented (brown and black hair).
